WordPress neighbourhood text
A written description of the neighbourhood of each property (schools, shops, public transport, roads, leisure, nearby cities), inserted in your page as ordinary headings and paragraphs. Part of the Yatmo WordPress plugin.
Install
Install the Yatmo plugin from wordpress.org/plugins/yatmo-map/ and enter your license key in Settings > Yatmo Map. The text shares the key, country, language and property location settings with the map. Its own defaults (paragraphs, heading level, place names in headings) are in the Neighbourhood text section of the same page.
Block and shortcode
In the block editor, add the Yatmo Neighbourhood Text block (Text category), give it an address or coordinates, and tick the paragraphs you want. Elsewhere, use the shortcode:

Search engines
The text is generated once per location by Yatmo, cached for 30 days by WordPress, and written into the HTML of the page: search engines and AI assistants read it as part of your listing, with the keywords in <strong>. It is styled by your theme. Developers can rework the markup with the yatmo_map_text_html filter, which also receives the raw text in every language.
Upgrading from yatmo-text
The former yatmo-text plugin is replaced by the Yatmo plugin: install it, then deactivate and delete yatmo-text. Your [yatmo-text] shortcodes keep working, including lat, lng, visibleparagraphs, showstreetnameintitle and showplacenameintitle. The openingtitlenodetype-style attributes are ignored: choose the heading level with heading and let your theme style the text. The default paragraphs and place-name settings are carried over.
